We had another wonderful turnout for our 3rd annual bike raffle. Once again, all tickets were sold out. Thank you to all who came out!
Pat Wager won the bike this year. He is from Weedsport. Steve Baird sold the winning ticket.

The next Sterling Trail Tamers meeting will be June 18, 2009 @ the South 40 @ 7:30 p.m.
Just a reminder, membership renewals will be up soon. Members are able to renew their membership on our website at www.sterlingtrailtamers.com, or at www.nyssa.com. If anyone runs into a problem, please contact Rich at (315) 343-0795. He will gladly assist in any troubles.
The 4th of July Parade is approaching soon. If anyone is interested in helping with the float, or has ideas, please let us know. Like always, any help is good help. J

As of April 1st, the snowmobile trails have closed for the season.
Thank you for choosing our Central New York region for your winter riding destination. We look forward to seeing you again when the trails open on December. And we hope that you will also visit us to explore our unlimited recreational opportunities during the rest of the year. Cayuga, New York is truly a wonderful place for all four seasons.

January 2009 Newsletter
Happy New Year!We hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season!At last month's meeting we discussed the Christmas party details and spoke about the excellent turnout that we had for the Children's party. Thank you to everyone who came and Santa did a great job.Our next meeting will be held on January 15th at the South Forty. We hope you can attend.We'd like to give a special "thank you" to Ken Malone for putting in culvert pipe on sections of Rte. 3. Riding will be much easier there now.We discussed holding a "Meat Raffle". We are planning this event for February 7th. Please come out and support this excellent event. We will be purchasing various meat products from hams and turkeys to roasts and steaks, all to be raffled on the 7th. Come on out and see how easy it is to win! Who doesn't need meat in the freezer?There will be a Cayuga County Trail ride from Weedsport to the Poor Folks, we thought of putting up some signs so they may stop at our clubhouse along the way and have some hot dogs and chili. The ride is scheduled for February 28th. For those of you who don't know, the clubhouse is located on Onionville Road.Out and About News:Cato will be holding a snowmobile saftey course on 1/4/09 at their clubhouse on Stockwell Rd, Cato from 8am to 4pmThe Ridge Runners will be holding a spaghetti supper at their clubhouse on 1/10 09 from 5pm - 8pm located on Salt Rd, Summerhill.Cato will be holding a Family Fun Day on 1/25/09 at the Clubhouse on Stockwell road from noon till ???We hope to see you all out and about on the trails!Have fun and ride safe!
